i. Proposal
  1. No more teacher ratings / comments until after initial lists
  2. Top 100 get into a restricted course
  3. Bottom 100 will not be considered for a restricted course
  4. Middle “Bubble” who petition will be discussed as a dept.
  5. Final lists will be a “department decision”
  6. Other ideas to streamline, etc?

Ideas:
  • List from one teacher to another (ex. Lew looking at Kwan's acceptance list to verify one by one) via email
  • Make things simpler
  • Consider HSPT test
  • Consider Midterm grades and not rush acceptance until midterms grades are in
  • Consider admissions test into restricted courses
  • Have the tests be a part of a cadre of measures
