Open House –
Exploratorium – help with setup, setup as it was in the past. As long as all of 1 discipline is together. Robotics – need to talk to Andrew, assuming the same setup. Bring stuff down today and tomorrow as long as it is dropped off by Friday. Exploratorium sign to post outside.
Presentations – same Prezi as before, if you want to present after seeing a coupe of them, please step up if you are interested.
Xavier – textbooks on the cart, display, etc. DNA models, books, models, big screen to present pictures of the science dept in action.
New schedule – Andrey will be in Otero, direct parents there. For science – all freshman will take physics in a block period – inquiry based, etc. Speak to the rigor of 2 math + science – same course will not be giving homework every night. Bridging of ideas from the math to physics – efficiency and coherence to support better learning. Stress horizontal alignment.
